Information

The Casa bnb Ticinetto is located 2 km outside the mediterranean village of Giornico and about 10 minutes from the highway A2 North-South. The large garden invites you to relax and right next to the house, you can take a bath in the Ticino River.

The guests of the river room and garden room have a shared bathroom with toilet and shower, lounge, gallery with TV, kitchen and barbecue area. Free Wi-Fi and bicycles are available. The house is easily accessible by car as well as by public transport. The bus stop is approx. 600 m from Casa bnb Ticinetto and the buses run hourly until midnight.

Giornico and the Leventina valley offer many possibilities for hiking, biking, bouldering, swimming, horse riding, skiing and much more.

The old village of Giornico with its amazing romanesque stone bridges invites you to linger. Giornico has three museums

(Museo di Leventina, La Congiounta, Fabbrica Culturale Baviera) , four grottos, an osteria, a bakery and a Denner supermarket with some local products.

A few hundred meters from home, you can see the oldest helical tunnel with complete rotation in Europe (1882) and the second highest Swiss bridge (Biaschina Viaduct).

The perfect environment for an active or relaxed weekend or a stop on the way south or north.
